About The Sale
High Sellers
Well folks, 2008 is upon us & we are less than a month away from our first sale weekend of the year!! For those of you who have not learned about our BRAND NEW Southern California Specialty Horse Sale, which will be on Saturday in place of the Pony Sale, it is explained completely in the "Sale Changes" section.
I am sorry that we had to cancel the Pony Sale but it was time to shut it down. I was hoping that the last one would get some more consignments but there were only seven. The only reason that I even had it was that there were about thirty people there to see it & I couldn't send them all home without some kind of performance. And what a performance they got!! We had a little six year old "bronc rider" who came in on a pony that decided to act like a very bad pony. He rode him for four really impressive jumps before he got bucked off in front of the auction block. When he got up his face was covered with dirt & he looked really mad!! His Dad was telling him to go get the pony & his Mom was coming out to make sure that his warranty was not about to expire!! When his Mom got to him he looked up at her & said, "See Mom, I didn't cry!!". I think that they should be nicknaming him "Tuff" about now.The prices for the All Breed Sale will be as follows:
All Breed Sale
1-3 horses $165.00 per head
4-6 horses $145.00 per head
7 or more $130.00 per head
The catalogue/entry fees will reflect on your total head count. In other words if you have seven horses at the All Breed Sale, instead of paying $165.00 per head in catalogue fees, totaling $1,155.00, you will pay $130.00 per head, totaling $910.00. An immediate savings of $245.00!!
Starting in 2008 the $5.00 state drug fee will be payed by the consignors along with a $5.00 halter charge which will be payed by the buyers. Unfortunately, the way the economy is, we need to find ways to cut our costs & the last thing we want to do is have to raise the consignment fees. Thanks for understanding.Don't forget that you can consign your horses right here on the web site in the "consign on line" section. It's very similar to buying merchandise on line. The program walks you right through the whole process. Once we have run your credit card info, or received your check, for your consignment fees you go right into the "on line catalogue" section on the web site for everyone to see!!
I look forward to seeing all of you at the next All Breed Sale, as well as the BRAND NEW Saturday affair. It's explained fully in the "Sale Changes" section. Thank you for you continued support!!
